Hello my new friend!
I'm Aileen, a recently-turned-30 wife, homemaker, mom of two little girls and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from Germany.
The idea behind The Tiny Light Post has been growing quietly in my heart for some time, and after having our second daughter I was inspired to finally give it a go when two friends of mine showered me with actual postcards and little surprises. Their thoughts and efforts were a tiny light to me every time I reread them, and actually receiving something in the mail and holding those little notes in my hands made them very special to me.
I realized that in this time full of technology, screens and rapidly growing AI, I might not be the only one craving human connection and little reminders to slow down, simplify and remember our redeemer Jesus Christ.
I hope that through this little Snail Mail Club and the TinyLight PenPal Project, we can connect as LDS women throughout the world and be tiny lights to each other - one actual letter (or postcard!) at a time.
